HubSpot CMS

HubSpot website redesign and CMS development

HubSpot CMS rebuilds shipped as reusable modules, so your marketing team can build new pages without opening a support ticket. Front-end work that respects your existing HubSpot stack.

HubSpot CMS work, done properly

HubSpot is a strong CMS when it is built as a module system and a frustrating one when it is built as a set of one-off pages. The difference shows up the first time marketing needs a new landing page and has to wait on a developer.
I build HubSpot sites as reusable modules from the start. Marketing gets components they can assemble, developers stop being a bottleneck, and the site stays consistent as it grows.
I was the solo front-end owner on Snappy Kraken's HubSpot CMS rebuild, shipping the marketing site, product pages and pricing as reusable modules on a 21-day launch deadline.

Why HubSpot projects go wrong

HubSpot CMS work fails in a predictable way. A developer builds the pages the brief asked for, each one custom, each one hard-coded. It looks right at launch. Then marketing wants a new landing page, discovers they cannot build one, and files a ticket. Six months later the site is a bottleneck rather than an asset.
The alternative takes slightly longer up front and pays back permanently. Instead of building pages, you build modules: a hero module, a testimonial module, a pricing table, a feature grid, each with proper editable fields. Pages become assemblies of those modules.
The test I use is simple. Can a marketer who has never seen the code build a new landing page that looks like it belongs on the site, without asking anyone? If yes, the system works. If no, it does not matter how good the launch pages looked.

Process

How a HubSpot build runs

01

Requirements

What does marketing need to publish without help? That question decides the module list, which decides everything else.
02

Module design

Each module designed as a reusable component with defined fields, so pages stay consistent no matter who builds them.
03

Theme build

Modules built in the HubSpot CMS with proper field types, so editors get sensible controls rather than raw HTML.
04

Page assembly

Marketing site, product pages and pricing assembled from the module library rather than built one at a time.
05

Handover

Documentation and a walkthrough so your team can build new pages the week after launch, not six months later.
Why modules matter

HubSpot done well versus done badly

A module system gives you

→
Marketing publishing new pages without developer time
→
Visual consistency across every page automatically
→
One place to change a component and have it update everywhere
→
Faster launches because pages are assembled, not designed from scratch

One-off pages leave you with

—
A support ticket every time a layout needs changing
—
Pages that drift visually as different people build them
—
Duplicate work every time a similar page is needed
—
A site that gets harder to maintain as it grows
