The diagnosis
A luxury house was selling four-figure lighters and pens off a Wix template. Not a catalogue problem. A credibility problem. The products photograph like heirlooms and the storefront read like a side project, and the launch window was four weeks shorter than an agency build.
What was built
WordPress and WooCommerce on Bricks, with a Kadence child theme bound to a design system
290 SKUs migrated with taxonomy, pricing and write-ups intact
An editorial first fold, curated collections and a limited-editions rail
Authorized-dealer proof placed above the fold, not in the footer
A processor-level AVS auto-decline traced and cleared on the Clover gateway
The result
290 products, each with a SKU, a taxonomy, and a write-up. Live in under seven days. Same catalogue, same photography, one designer.
The honest limitation
The AVS decline sat with the payment processor, not the build. It cost two days that no amount of design would have saved.
