Shopify store redesign services

A Shopify rebuild aimed at the only metric that matters: more of your traffic buying. Product pages, collection structure and checkout path rebuilt around conversion.

Where Shopify stores lose sales

A Shopify theme can look excellent and still convert badly. The usual culprits are product pages that answer the wrong questions, collection pages that make people work to find things, and a checkout path with more steps than it needs.
None of that is fixed by a new theme. It is fixed by understanding what a buyer needs to know before they are willing to spend, then rebuilding the page around that.
I redesign stores from the product page outward, because that is where the buying decision actually happens, and where most of the money is left on the table.

The product page is the whole business

On most stores, the product page is where the sale is won or lost, and it is usually the least considered page in the build. Homepage gets the attention, collection pages get the merchandising thought, and the product page ends up as whatever the theme shipped with.
A product page has one job: answer every question standing between someone and their card details. What size am I? What does it feel like? What happens if it is wrong? How fast does it arrive? Who else bought this and what did they think?
Most themes answer maybe two of those above the fold and bury the rest in a tab nobody opens. When I rebuild a store, the product page gets designed first and everything else is built to support it.

Speed, apps and why Shopify stores get slow

Shopify handles hosting and checkout, which removes a whole category of problems. What it does not protect you from is app bloat. Every app you install adds scripts to your storefront, and most of them load on every page whether that page uses the app or not.
A store running fifteen apps is usually loading a substantial amount of JavaScript before a customer sees a product image. On mobile, over a normal connection, that is the difference between a sale and a bounce.
Part of a redesign is auditing what each app actually contributes against what it costs in load time. Some earn their place. Several usually do not, and removing them is the fastest performance win available.

Honest assessment

When a Shopify redesign pays for itself

Worth doing when

→
Traffic is healthy but conversion rate is below your category average
→
Mobile converts far worse than desktop
→
Product pages do not answer the questions buyers actually ask
→
Your theme has been patched by several developers over the years
→
App bloat has made the storefront slow

Probably not yet when

—
You do not have enough traffic to know what is failing
—
The real problem is product-market fit or pricing
—
A focused product page rebuild would answer the question first
—
You launched recently on a clean, fast theme
Process

How a store rebuild runs

01

Store audit

Review of product pages, collections, navigation and checkout path, with drop-off points identified from your analytics.
02

Product page first

The product page is where the buying decision happens, so it gets designed first and everything else supports it.
03

Collections and navigation

Structure rebuilt so finding the right product takes fewer clicks and fewer dead ends.
04

Theme build

Built as reusable sections your team can rearrange without a developer. Speed and image handling addressed during the build.
05

Launch and verify

Product URLs preserved, redirects mapped for anything that moves, paid traffic destinations confirmed still landing.
