Common questions
Can a Framer site be exported to WordPress?
Not directly. Framer does not export into a WordPress-compatible format, so the site is rebuilt rather than transferred. Done properly that means extracting the design system and rebuilding it as reusable components, which usually produces a more maintainable site than the original.
Why would I move from Framer to WordPress?
The usual reasons are needing a real CMS for content volume, needing plugins that only exist in WordPress, or needing non-technical team members to edit pages safely. If none of those apply, staying on Framer is often the right call and I will say so.
Will the new site look the same?
As close as you want. Most clients use the rebuild as a chance to fix what was not working rather than reproducing it exactly. Either approach is fine.
Do you also migrate to Framer?
Yes. Squarespace and Wix to Framer are both common moves, and Framer is a strong fit for marketing sites that do not need heavy CMS functionality.
How long does it take?
Usually 3 to 8 weeks. Framer sites tend to be tighter in page count than WordPress sites, which keeps the rebuild focused.
